Eight Signees; One Transfer Added to WSOC Roster

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's soccer, coming off a 2016 Conference USA Championships title and NCAA Tournament berth, has bolstered its roster by nine players, as announced by head coach John Cullen Friday. The 49ers have eight newcomers who have signed National Letters of Intent, while also including one transfer to the roster.

"National Signing Day is always an exciting time for any program," said Cullen. "We're super excited to welcome nine great additions to our program. Coming off a successful season, you're looking to build upon the reputation of what you've done this past year and hope the new faces can come in and galvanize the group and add more competition at some places, which is what you want to drive the standard up.
