Charlotte, NC – Former Charlotte 49ers men's basketball standout guard Eddie Basden (2002-05) plays in the BIG3 league and will play at the Spectrum Center this Sunday, July 2 at 2 p.m. The BIG3 is a professional basketball league of former NBA greats and players playing 3-on-3 games.
Basden, who played in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls, plays on the 3-Headed Monster team which is coached by former NBA great Gary Payton. The 3-Headed Monsters will play the Trilogy in the second game this Sunday at the Spectrum Center.
???????Basden, who had his #13 Charlotte 49ers jersey retired in 2009, was a two-time Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and the 2005 Conference USA Player of the Year.
