CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte track and field set personal best times and a new school record at two meets this past weekend.
Most of the Charlotte track and field team competed at the Florida Relays, hosted by the University of Florida, where Victoria Ebert posted a school record in the women's shot put. Distance runners traveled to NC State for the Raleigh Relays, where Mihret Coulter set a personal best and the school's sixth fastest 5000-meter time.
"Both meets this weekend were very high caliber in the events in which we competed, which brought out some nice early season performances even though we are training hard during the week at this point," Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Bob Olesen said.
