FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Host Arkansas used a five-run sixth and two-run seventh to open up a close game before securing a 9-2 victory on Wednesday afternoon.
"We played a tremendous team," began Head Coach . "We're still trying to figure out and we told the kids afterwards if we learn from this and make some adjustments, we have a chance to do some good things moving forward."
Arkansas (10-1) took advantage of a couple of leadoff walks in the second to grab a 1-0 lead. Dominic Fletcher began with the first free pass, moved to second on Casey Opitz's walk and eventually scored on a Jack Kenley sacrifice fly to right.
