GREENSBORO, N.C. – Charlotte baseball threatened with the bases loaded in the ninth, down by two, but eventually ran out of outs as UNCG held on for a 6-4 victory on Tuesday night.
QUICK STRIKE
Right off the bat, and opened up the game with back-to-back singles before ground outs by and got the job done as the Niners took a 1-0 lead.
FOURTH INNING RESPONSE
After UNCG (6-1) scored five quick runs of their own, four with two outs, Charlotte (5-4) was able to cut the deficit from four down to two in the fourth.
