The anticipation for most of the Hornet’s roster’s first ever game seven in the first round of the 2016 NBA playoffs was quite evident.
From the tip, the Hornets didn’t play with the sam energy they displayed in the first six games. Starting guard Kemba Walker looked fatigue as he only shot 3-of-16 from the field finishing with only nine points after having a career best performance in the previous game. The heat came out with a ton of energy and took full advantage of the home court.
Although the Hornets fell short to Dwayne Wade and the Heat on Sunday, they’res plenty of silver linings from the season.
