SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Charlotte women's tennis utilized eight of nine players on the roster Tuesday afternoon as it earned its second-straight win, a 7-0 final at USC Upstate on the Spartans' home courts in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It marked the first sweep of the spring for the Niners and fourth-triumph-in-a-row in the series.
The doubles point fell to the 49ers' favor after they grabbed victories on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts. The No. 1 duo of sophomore Pierina Imparato and junior Tai Martin knocked off Carol Sigaki and Vale Zarama, 7-5.
