CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte held South Carolina State to a 21.1 percent (15-of-71) shooting performance, the lowest for any opponent in head coach Cara Consuegra's seven years, while the 49ers picked up a pair of double-doubles as they spread the scoring around in Thursday's 64-49 triumph over South Carolina State.
Three different Niners reached double-figure scoring with two others on the cusp in addition to a pair with double-digit rebounds in one of the most complete, all-around wins of the campaign.
