DALLAS – Senior Ignasi de Rueda and junior Henry Lieberman were named All-Conference USA First Team Singles, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE USA SINGLES
De Rueda and Lieberman are the fifth and sixth different Charlotte 49ers men's tennis players that have garnered All-Conference USA first team singles honors in the program's history. Former Niners Ola Jonsson (2001), Forrest Edwards (2015), Jordi Massalle Ferrer (2015 and 2016), and Luca Keist (2018 and 2019) garnered first team All-Conference USA honors in singles.
DE RUEDA STRONG SENIOR SEASON
De Rueda led the 49ers with 18 singles wins this season while winning eight of his final nine matches, including a four-match win streak to finish the season.
