Birmingham, Ala. – Behind two double-figures scorers led by Jon Davis' 29 points and a total team performance, the Charlotte 49ers defeated the UAB Blazers, 69-62, on the road.
"I am happy for our players," Charlotte coach Ron Sanchez said. "We really shared the ball well today. We played with a lot of unity today."
Jon Davis recorded his 90th career double-figure scoring game and his 46th career 20 plus points scoring game with 29 points. He connected on a career-high seven three-point field goals in the game.
