CHARLOTTE – A pair of standouts from the 2024 Charlotte men's soccer team have signed MLS Next Pro contracts. 2024 All-East Region selection Riyon Tori has joined Orlando City B, the reserve team of Orlando City SC, and Charlotte native Daniel Moore has signed with Crown Legacy, the reserve team of Charlotte FC.
Orlando City B announced Tori's signing on Thursday, Feb. 27. Orlando City SC originally selected the Osaka, Japan, native in the third round of the 2024 MLS SuperDraft. Picked 83rd overall, Tori opted to play his senior season with the 49ers, where he appeared in 10 games and earned first-team All-AAC and second-team All-East Region honors while helping Charlotte secure back-to-back conference championships.
