CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers cross country teams open the season this Friday, Aug. 30 with the first of six meets before the Conference USA-Championships in November. The Charlotte Opener on Friday starts with the men at 10 a.m. and will take place at Frank Liske Park in Concord, N.C. It is one of three events within an hour's drive from campus this fall.
STARTING CLOSE TO HOME
The Charlotte Opener is usually a smaller meet, but has quality opponents this year that will make it a strong start to the season and a chance to see where this year's squads are at.
