CHARLOTTE, N.C. – There have been a lot of highs taken away from the Charlotte women's tennis regular season but it's now time for the 49ers to turn their focus to the Air Force Reserve Conference USA Championships this week in Houston. The Niners enter the tournament confident in their results and work ethic under first-year head coach Anthony Davison leading into Thursday's First Round matchup with Marshall at 4 p.m. ET.
"This is really exciting, to go from last year with a lot of really hard-fought losses, just heartbreaking losses, to come back this year and flip all of those matches," senior captain Tai Martin said.
