CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's soccer team will look to build upon a shutout league victory in its last match as it returns to the field for an 8 p.m. ET Thursday start in Bowling Green, Kentucky, against WKU. It will be the first time the 49ers have been in action since last Thursday.
CONFERENCE WIN
The Niners picked up their first Conference USA triumph of the campaign last Thursday, topping FIU in Miami, 2-0. The result improved Charlotte's record to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in league play. It came just over a year from the last C-USA road win, a 3-0 victory at Old Dominion Sept.
