CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Women's Tennis will kick off its dual-match spring season on Friday with a doubleheader against Queens and South Carolina State.
The 49ers will host both matches at LifeTime Fitness, with the Royals at 2 p.m. and the Bulldogs soon after around 5 p.m.
Scouting the Slate
Queens enters Friday's opener on the heels of a 2-21 season and wins over Winston-Salem State and North Carolina A&T State last year. The Royals are led by a young group of four sophomores and a freshman under third-year coach Alex Leatu.
