WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Charlotte Track and Field made the short trip west to Winston-Salem for the JDL Early Bird Invitational, where 35 Niners competed across 11 events throughout the one-day meet.
TRACK EVENTS
Charlotte competed in four different track events throughout the day including the women's 60m hurdles, men's 60m hurdles, women's 60m, and men's 60m.
Women's 60m Hurdles
Senior JaNeya Hammond took home the gold in the women's 60m hurdles with a time of 8.69. Sophomore Summer Washington also found herself on the podium, coming in third with a time of 8.
