CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte 49ers women's soccer team returns home on Thursday (Sept. 26) for an in-state matchup against rival East Carolina at noon.
Originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, the match was moved up to avoid storms forecasted for later in the evening.
SCOUTING THE PIRATES
East Carolina (4-2-3, 1-1-0 AAC) has four wins on the year and is one of four teams tied for fourth place in the American Athletic Conference standings with three points. The Pirates opened conference play with a 2-1 victory at Temple but have lost each of their last two matches by a score of 2-0, including a conference match last Thursday against UTSA.
