CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Welcome to Part One of a two-episode series featuring former Charlotte women's soccer standouts who also have competed with a level of the United States Women's National Team during their playing careers.
Part One features 49ers great Lindsey Ozimek, who donned the green and white from 2004-07. She is one of three players, and the first, in program history to have her jersey recognized, and is still Charlotte's all-time leader in assists.
Ozimek recently sat down with Charlotte49ers.com to discuss her time with the 49ers, the various United States Women's National Teams with which she participated and her family life after hanging up the boots.
