LYNCHBURG, Va. & WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — After a successful meet in Clemson last weekend, Charlotte Track and Field was back in action across two different meets this Friday and Saturday. Field athletes competed in Lynchburg, Va. at the Liberty Open while distance racers competed at the JDL Camel City Invitational.

Sarah Brown took home the gold in the women's pole vault with a height of 4.27m and Alicia Johnson came in second with a height of 3.82m.
Junior Chaunesse Barringer came in third in the women's long jump with a distance of 5.
