COLUMBIA, S.C.– Charlotte Track and Field wrapped up action at the USC Invite on Saturday afternoon to close out the indoor regular season before heading down to Birmingham, Ala. for the American Conference Championships next weekend.
WOMEN'S EVENTS
The field athletes led the way for Charlotte on the women's side, which was headlined by a new personal best performance in women's pole vault from senior Alicia Johnson who cleared the bar at 4.07m which was good to replace her mark at third best in program history. This height currently ranks second amongst the American only behind her teammate Sarah Brown and also ranks 84th in the NCAA at the DI level this season.
