Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte track and field team will compete in two meets this weekend, the South Carolina Invitational and the JDL Camel City Invitational, on Feb. 7-8 in Columbia, S.C., and Winston-Salem, N.C. 33 student-athletes will compete in the Carolina Invitational while another 41 athletes are set to compete in the JDL Camel City Invitational. The 49ers are coming off a hot week at the Carolina Challenge where 17 athletes set new personal records and the men's 4x400 relay team broke Charlotte's indoor school record with a time of 3:09.80, a mark that is good for 26th in the nation.
