CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A no-quit attitude prevailed on the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex courts Wednesday afternoon, as Charlotte women’s tennis overcame an early deficit to defeat Campbell 4-3 in another tightly-contested match between the two in-state programs.
“I was very proud of the way the team worked today,” head coach Michaela Gorman said. “I told them going into today’s match it was going to be a battle and it was. Every single court was a battle. I felt like we fought through and really focused in on working on the things we’ve been doing well, settling down and putting a lot of positive points together.
