GREENSBORO, N.C. - Behind three multi-run innings, the Charlotte 49ers (22-9, 6-2 C-USA) defeated the UNCG Spartans (18-14, 3-3 SoCon), 11-4, on Wednesday afternoon at UNCG Softball Stadium.
Spenser Gray, Kourtney Gremillion and Madelyn Wright all had a multi-RBI game, while Gremillion, Wright and Cori Henderson tallied a multi-hit game. Gray was 1-for-5 with a bases-clearing triple and a career-high four RBIs, Gremillion was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a double, Wright was 2-for-4 with a couple of RBIs and Henderson went 2-for-2 with three runs scored and a double.
