CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers softball team (16-8, 2-1 C-USA) split their doubleheader against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (15-14, 1-2 C-USA) on Friday at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium after winning the first game, 3-1, and dropping game two, 8-3, in eight innings. The team totaled a combined 18 hits, three doubles and two homes runs on the day.

Charlotte won the first game of the doubleheader by a score of 3-1. Bailey Vannoy had another great day at the plate after going 3-for-3 with two doubles and a run scored.
