Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers (5-6) went 4-1 over the weekend at the First Pitch Classic after run-ruling the Morehead State Eagles (2-2), 11-1, on Sunday at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium.
TWO OUT SUCCESSES
Charlotte scored 11 runs in the first three innings of the game, 10 of those runs coming with two outs. In the first inning, back-to-back singles by Bailey Vannoy and Imani Rochelle put two on for Madelyn Wright. With two outs, Wright scorched a single up the middle scoring Vannoy for the first run of the game.
