CHARLOTTE – After a six-game homestand in which the Niners went 5-1, Charlotte Softball gears up for an eight-game road stretch that will begin on Friday at the Coach Cooke Memorial in Rock Hill, S.C. hosted by Winthrop.
Throughout the tournament, the Niners will face four different teams in two days: USC Upstate, Youngstown St, Marist, and Winthrop.
LAST TIME OUT
Charlotte most recently concluded a home matchup against No. 19 South Carolina, in which the Niners lost 2-10 in six innings.
Avery Shamblin got the start in the circle for the Niners where she pitched four complete innings only giving up two earned runs.
