CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's soccer returns to Transamerica Field for the first time in nearly a month when it plays host to Southern Miss at 7 p.m. Friday. It will be the start of a stretch in which the 49ers will play five of their last six regular-season matches at home.
STANDING STRONG
The Niners own a 3-1 Conference USA mark through the first-four games, putting it into a three-way tie for third place with nine points. Preseason favorite North Texas remains the front runner with 12 points, while Rice, who handed Charlotte its only setback, is second with 10 points.
