CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Nearly 25 years after the only meeting between the two schools, the Charlotte women's soccer program will play host to Campbell Thursday evening at Transamerica Field. The fourth of five-straight home games for the 49ers will begin at 7 p.m. and it will be picked up on UNC Charlotte TV.
LONG LOST OPPONENT
Despite being an in-state opponent, Campbell has not been on the Niners' schedule since Charlotte's inaugural season in 1994. Despite the 49ers being in their infancy, they came away with the 2-1 victory Sept. 14 in the second home game in program history.
