CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Braxton Ogbueze scored 24 points and grabbed five rebounds as Charlotte rallied to an 88-78 win over UTEP on Saturday night.
Ogbueze was 9 of 17 from the field including four from distance for the 49ers (12-17, 8-8 Conference USA). Andrien White added 22 points, Joseph Uchebo had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Curran Scott had 12 points.
Charlotte trailed through much of the first half and was down 47-40 at the break.
The 49ers rallied in the second half and a Scott 3-pointer tied it up, 63-63, with 10:57 to play.
