CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A three-point night for junior and a stellar defensive effort in the second half, pushed the Charlotte men's soccer team past Niagara, 2-1, on Sunday at Transamerica Field.
The Niners (4-2-0) dominated the Purple Eagles (2-5-0) in just about every phase of Sunday's match, outshooting the visitors from the Empire State, 15-9, and holding much of the possession in the attacking third.
Lacey's night began with an assist on the night's opening goal to sophomore , before helping CLT regain the lead just before halftime with his third goal of the year.
