DALLAS, Texas – No. 18 Charlotte men's soccer placed a veteran trio on the Conference USA All-Conference preseason team and has been picked to finish second in the league—only behind defending conference and National Champions, Marshall—the conference announced Monday afternoon.
The 49ers senior striker duo of Preston Popp and Alex Willis, along with fifth-year senior midfielder Joe Brito found their names penned among the conference's best.

After scoring three goals and dishing out a pair of assists in his first season after transferring to Charlotte this past Spring, Willis—a Faversham, England native—earned a spot on the Spring 2021 C-USA All-Conference First Team is still among the league's best front men entering his fourth season of college soccer.
