CHARLOTTE – In the final home game of the season inside Halton Arena, Charlotte Women's Basketball will host the Temple Owls in American Athletic Conference Action on Tuesday (Mar. 4) at 6:30 p.m.
A Charlotte win on Saturday at Wichita State would have clinched the 49ers a first-round bye in the upcoming conference tournament. Although, with the Wichita State victory the season series has been tied, forcing the two teams into a tiebreaker. The Shockers currently hold the tiebreaker with their win over Rice (#8) compared to Charlotte's best win over Memphis (#10).
For Charlotte to clinch a first-round bye, the Niners will need a victory over the Owls paired with a Tulsa victory against Wichita State.
