CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A typical 40-minute grind between Charlotte and Southern Miss women's basketball was played again Saturday afternoon with the 49ers prevailing 63-59 over the Lady Eagles inside Halton Arena. The Niners picked up their third-straight victory, this year, while welcoming back former players, coaches and managers for Alumnae Day and celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day with a pregame clinic.
HARRIS PROVIDES BOOST OFF BENCH
Sophomore Jazmin Harris, a 2018-19 All-Conference USA Freshman Team choice, nearly tallied her first career double-double. She finished with 15 points, draining seven of her 11 field-goal attempts, and eight rebounds in just 19 minutes.
