CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's soccer, the Conference USA Championships title holders, will make its way to Durham for a 1 p.m. Saturday kick against the No. 14th-ranked Duke Blue Devils in the NCAA First Round. The 49ers are appearing in their fifth NCAA Tournament in program history and are matched up against the defending national runner-up.
Charlotte captured the C-USA crown for the third time in program history following a 4-0 victory over Florida Atlantic Sunday in the final at Transamerica Field. The Niners enter the NCAAs with an 11-8-2 ledger and have allowed only one goal in the last 330:31 dating back to the regular season.
