MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Two members of the Charlotte women's basketball backcourt have been voted to the 2018-19 All-North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) Teams, as announced by the organization Thursday afternoon. Redshirt junior Jade Phillips was tabbed to the first team, while senior Laia Raventós garnered second-team plaudits.
Phillips led the 49ers in scoring and rebounding in her first season with the program, averaging 13.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game and starting all 30 games in which she appeared. She connected on 42.0 percent of her field goals, handed out 60 assists, swiped 31 steals and blocked nine shots during the campaign.
