CONWAY, S.C. – Henry Lieberman clinched the victory with a dramatic three sets win at number two singles as the Charlotte 49ers (7-5) defeated the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (1-2), 4-3.
NINERS CAPTURED THE DOUBLES POINT
Charlotte won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. At number two doubles, Charlotte's Lieberman and Leo Menezes defeated Coastal Carolina's Bastien Huon and Daiki Tanabe, 6-3, for their third straight win. At number one doubles, Charlotte's Ignasi de Rueda and Stefanos Savva lost to Coastal Carolina's Pyry Hyrkkonen and Diego Giraldo, 6-4.
