BLACKSBURG, Va. – Charlotte women's tennis continued to make historic strides under head coach Anthony Davison Saturday, as the 49ers swept all three doubles matches and won four of six singles contests to earn a 5-2 triumph at Virginia Tech for their third-straight win this spring.

"What a great battle today," Davison said. "We came out of the gates hot and caught them in doubles. I was really proud of that because we have been focusing on it a lot these past two weeks. In the singles, we showed our character and toughness.
