Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Charlotte Volleyball wrapped up their weekend road trip on Sunday by losing in straight sets to the UAB Blazers (19-25, 17-25, and 8-25).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Charlotte and UAB went back-and-forth in a competitive first set of play. Kristen Birmingham and Jessica Ricks combined for seven of the nine kills for the Niners to pace the attack. Meanwhile for UAB, Jorda Cook totaled seven of her game-high 19 kills in the first set to fuel a 25-19 victory.
Cook continued her dominance in the second set, coming up with three service aces, two block assists, and five kills.
