CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Women's Tennis made quick work of Liberty and extinguished the Flames 4-0 at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex on Friday.
It marked the program's fourth consecutive win and eighth sweep of the spring season to propel its 10-2 start.
Sara Suchankova and Amira Badawi clinched the match's opening point 6-2 from the top doubles spot. It came after Yelyzaveta Chainykova and Paula Dougherty won by the same margin in the No. 3 slot. The wins moved the former's record to 8-2 this season and the latter's to 1-0 in the pair's first spring action.
