CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte (3-0) earned its third-straight win over Wofford College (1-3), 1-0, on Sunday afternoon at Transamerica Field in Charlotte, N.C. Senior Michaella Arteta grabbed the win after being taken down in the box to draw the PK.

The Wofford Terriers came out of the gate hot, as Mia Bookhard offered the Terriers an easy scoring chance, but her strike was missed wide right of the net. The back-and-forth game continued throughout the first half. The 49ers began to take control in shots, recording seven to Terriers three in the first period.
