CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Men's Tennis clinched its first match of the spring dual-match campaign on Sunday with a dominant 7-0 win over Queens. It marks the program's 16th consecutive victory over the Royals.

Matias Iturbe and Vasco Prata clinched the 49ers' first doubles win 6-1 from the top slot before Ivan Dreycopp and Frederic Schlossmann's 6-2 victory sealed the point.

Schlossmann continued his success with the team's first singles point before Prata carried on his early-season momentum with a 6-4, 6-1 win. Charlotte's top singles standout is undefeated through two chances so far, including last week's win at Georgia Tech.
