Charlotte drops second straight to Kent State

Charlotte (5-5) dug themselves another hole Saturday afternoon against Kent State (8-3) in the second game of the three game series at Robert and Mariam Hayes Stadium, unable to capitalize on another 10-hit team performance, losing 11-6.

J.D. Prochaska (L, 1-2) made an early exit against the Golden Flashes, only throwing two innings, giving up four runs (2 earned) on three hits. Prochaska looked like he was in the zone through 1.2 innings, but walked two straight batters, gave up two straight hits, and just couldn’t find any way to get out of the inning. Kent State scored four runs that inning, all on two hits.
