CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte 49ers women's soccer team fell to TCU, 3-0, at Transamerica Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Horned Frogs (2-0) jumped out to a quick lead in the 13th minute and didn't look back, adding on insurance goals in the 35th and 83rd minutes. TCU took 22 total shots in the match, with Charlotte (0-2) keeper turning away three with saves, while the Niners only mustered five. It was five different Niners registering a shot in the match as , , , , and all let one go.
HOW IT HAPPENED
TCU opened the scoring early with a goal off the bottom of the crossbar after a pair of quick passes.
