CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Momentum stayed on the Charlotte women's tennis side of the net Friday afternoon, as the 49ers continued to collect individual and team wins by handing Charleston Southern a 6-1 setback at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex. The victory is the third straight for the 49ers overall, improves their home ledger to 4-0 this spring and was the second-in-a-row of the day after opening a doubleheader with a 7-0 triumph over North Carolina A&T earlier.
"I'm very happy with the two wins today," head coach Anthony Davison said. "We took care of business against a tricky opponent in Charleston Southern.
