CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After dropping the opening game against the UTSA Roadrunners on Thursday night to open the conference series, the Niners bounced back and returned to the win column with a 9-4 victory in game two.
HOW IT HAPPENED
This time it was the Niners who struck first, scoring three in the bottom of the first. Charlotte opened the first by getting two runners on base from a walk and a hit by pitch. The first run came around on a double steal attempt when Olivia Williams managed to steal home.
