Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers (11-12) host the Florida Atlantic Owls (6-11) at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium for their first Conference USA series of the season on March 6-8. The Niners hold a 4-15 all-time record against the Owls, losing two of three last season.

The 49ers are coming off a couple of losses in a doubleheader against Clemson on Wednesday. Both Spenser Gray and Tessa Hawkins picked up multi-hit games against the Tigers. Cori Henderson and Gray recorded doubles and three Niners tallied stolen bases in the games.
