The 49ers set a new season high in a 14-3 win over Charleston on Wednesday. The offense also recorded a season high 17 hits to accompany the high scoring win.
“We bounced back after a tough weekend,” Head Coach Loren Hibbs said. “We played really well and took care of business. I’m really proud of our effort, we’re getting closer and we now to have another good practice tomorrow to get ready for the weekend.”
Going into the second inning Charlotte was down 1-0, the only time they would trail in the game. Drew Ober lead off being hit by a pitch to put him on first base.
