Charlotte, N.C. – Former Charlotte 49ers standout midfielder Brandt Bronico is in his second season playing for Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire. Brandt Bronico was selected with the third pick in the third round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
For the Fire this season, Bronico has played in 14 games with nine starts. He scored his first career MLS goal against FC Dallas, July 15.
At Charlotte in 2016, Bronico was named second-team All-American by College Soccer News. He earned second-team NSCAA Scholar All-American honors as well. Bronico was named first-team NSCAA All-Southeast Region for the third time in his career.
