CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers track and field team concluded the 49er Classic to open their outdoor season in strong fashion after the team totaled 12 first-place finishes, eight second-place finishes and 11 third-place finishes, while freshman Sarah Brown broke the school outdoor record in the pole vault after clearing 4.00m. The team also recorded 37 personal records at the home opener.
