CHARLOTTE - Due to a personal family matter, Charlotte Head Football Coach Biff Poggi will be unable to attend next week's 2024 American Athletic Conference Football Kickoff. Associate head coach Tim Brewster will represent the 49ers alongside student-athletes Max Brown and Dontae Balfour.
"Though I was greatly looking forward to representing our program with our fantastic student-athletes in Dallas, a family matter will require my attendance elsewhere at the beginning of the week. Tim, Max, and Dontae will do an excellent job outlining the progress our program has made since the 2023 season ended and share in my excitement to get the 2024 season underway.
